Fastest
Weights listed kW more heavily so 100–150 kW sites outrank a 30 kW gun that happens to be 200 m closer. You still pay with wait time if that 150 kW site has a queue of one gun. Combine with multi-gun common sense.
Fewer stops
Assumes you will take more energy per halt (often toward 90%). Useful on a long-range car with working high-kW DC. Harmful if you then crawl from 80–100% on a 50 kW gun while three cars wait.
Cheapest / prefer lower-cost
Uses estimated ₹/kWh in ranking. Estimates can be wrong. Cap max ₹/kWh if you want to exclude known expensive malls. Confirm in-app. Pair with the trip cost page so you know the arithmetic.
You can change mode and re-plan
If Balanced gave you a cheap slow gun and you are late, switch to Fastest and plan again. If Fastest sent you to an expensive mall, cap ₹/kWh. Mode is a ranking preference, not a moral identity.
