You can enter Delhi and Mumbai in EV Grids and get a long stop list. You should still sleep. Fatigue plus a dead gun at 1 a.m. is how trips go wrong. Use via points (Jaipur, Ahmedabad, or another city you will actually stop in) or save two trips.
NH48 is the usual spine. Charger density is better than a Northeast run, which tempts people to overdrive. Resist.
A hotel Type 2 overnight is often worth more than a 45-minute DC crawl to 100%. Enable overnight-biased planning when you will sleep. Start the next dawn at 90%+.
Confirm the hotel charger exists — listings lie. A destination that only has a nearby mall DC still works if you budget the detour.
This many DC sessions will not look like home-tariff ₹/km. Use the trip cost calculator for a ballpark, then believe operator invoices. Time is the larger cost: Fastest mode if your schedule is tight, Balanced if it is a holiday.
Drivers who have already done Delhi–Jaipur and a 500 km day without drama. If Hyderabad–Vijayawada still felt like an adventure, do that twice more before NH48 end-to-end.
Day one: Delhi → Jaipur or a similar 250–400 km block with hotel AC. Day two: continue on NH48 with a second hotel or a very early start. Ahmedabad is a natural Gujarat staging city if that matches where you actually want to sleep.
